Le relazioni prendono forma

Performance partecipata e installazione, 2015.

Fuori dal Trecciato, dal 2015, è un intervento a più livelli, una micro-contaminazione di un luogo, un espediente per intrecciare conoscenze reciproche e aprire lo spazio di partenza alla città.

La partecipazione fatta di gesti normali e di intrecci di residui tessili industriali, è stata aperta a tutti.

Ospitato in vari luoghi, è cambiato nel tempo insieme ai vari tipi di persone coinvolte.

Il progetto è iniziato nella primavera 2015 dallo scambio creativo tra le tre artiste, invitate da Artforms ( http://info-artforms.tumblr.com/ ) per sviluppare un’opera d’arte site specific.

Fin dall’inizio il progetto ha attivato nuove relazioni e collaborazioni:

Valentina Lapolla, ha aderito alla macro opera d’arte con Chincaglierie (Trinket), un sofisticato sistema che trasforma in vibrazioni le registrazioni audio dell’esperienza partecipativa; il critico d’arte Matteo Innocenti ha scritto il testo dinamico Four Easy Pieces, che cambia ogni volta che il lavoro viene esposto o ri-localizzato, quindi modificato in forma e contenuto.

L’opera d’arte e il processo partecipativo rappresentano l’intenzione delle tre artiste di estendere il loro lavoro da sè verso il contesto e le persone che le circondano.

Hanno deciso di legare, intrecciare materiali e relazioni per generare una trama, fisica ed emotiva, composta da materiali di scarto e forme diverse che nel loro insieme rappresenteranno la somma di azioni, pensieri e storie delle persone coinvolte nel “fare insieme”.

La trama è stata un’azione partecipativa che ha prodotto un’installazione.

Emanuela Baldi, Manuela Mancioppi, Tatiana Villani hanno lavorato insieme per la prima volta. Ideando un processo creativo interpersonale e spaziale di relazione per legare Interno 8 al centro della città e coinvolgere le persone in uno scambio reciproco. L’azione è durata diverse settimane durante le quali gli artisti hanno creato un’installazio realizzata con stracci e scarti, tutti materiali provenienti dalle industrie tessili locali. I partecipanti sono state invitate a collaborare liberamente all’azione.

A relationships project

Fuori dal Trecciato (Weave Along), from 2015, it is a multi-level intervention, a micro-contamination of space, a device to weave mutual knowledge and open the starting place to the city.

The participation made of normal gestures and weaving of industrial textile residues has been open to all.

Hosted in various places, it has changed over time along with the various types of people involved.

The project started in Spring 2015 from the creative exchange among the three artists, who were invited by Artforms ( http://info-artforms.tumblr.com/ ) to develop a site specific artwork for its headquarters in Prato.

Since the very beginning the project activated new relations and collaborations:

Valentina Lapolla, joined the macro artwork with Chincaglierie (Trinket),a sophisticated system that transforms the audio recordings of the participatory experience into vibrations; the art critic Matteo Innocenti wrote the dynamic text Four Easy Pieces, that changes every time the work is exhibited or re-located, thus changed in shape and content.

The artwork and the participatory process represent the intention of the three artists to extend their work from themselves towards the context and the people around them.

They decided to bind, to weave together materials and relations to generate a weft, a physical and emotional plot made by scrap materials and different shapes that as whole will represent the sum of actions, thoughts and stories of the people involved in the “making together” process.

Weave along was a participatory action that produced an installation.

Emanuela Baldi, Manuela Mancioppi, Tatiana Villani were working together for the very first time. They ideated a creative interpersonal and spatial process of relation to bond Interno 8 to the city centre and involve people in mutual exchange. The action lasted several weeks during which artists created a piece made by rags and scraps, all materials coming from local textile industries. People were invited to participate to the action freely.
