“Atlas of particles – Are you predictable?”
“Atlas
of particles – Are you predictable?”
is
opened in the Art Pavilion “Cvijeta Zuzorić”
on Thursday, July 2, 2020, at 19:00.
The
exhibition “Atlas of Particles – Are You Predictable?” is
the first exhibition organized by the expanded media department of
the Association of Fine Artists of Serbia (ULUS) in the Art Pavilion,
and the organizing committee of this year’s exhibition are artists:
Milica Lapčević, Milos Peškir and Dušan Radovanović.
At
the opening of the exhibition artist Lidija Antonović made a photo
session under the title “A place for history” which
took place at the entrance to UP “Cvijeta Zuzorić”,
followed by a performance by artist Neda Kovinić “Deliberately
inefficient”. The organizers of the exhibition addressed the
audience at 8 pm, followed by separate screenings of video works by
artist Maya Lavelle, (“Hobo”), and artist Izvanredni Bob
(“Annihilation”). “Contemporary art production of
Serbia is also distinguished in the field of expanded media by its
vitality and diversity, with efforts to explore and examine the
border areas of creative formats, in line with world events and in
accordance with the legacy of previous pioneering artists in this
discipline. The organizing committee from the expanded media
department of ULUS ( Miloš Peškir, Dušan Radovanović and Milica
Lapčević) attempted to provide an insight into the spectrum of
methods and poetics, positioning the authors as particles. Taken as a
model from latest quantum physics research, sometimes without mass or
velocity, using other parameters of magnetic, light or energy
existence, particles permeate our perception and existence in
countless different and scientifically barely provable ways. Hence,
the setting of the exhibition itself strives to create a hybrid,
multimedia impression in the dynamics of different expressions and
formats. ” (From the description of the exhibition compiled by the
Organizing Committee)
